Hello! I'm Kelly Stevens, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing telehealth services for residents of Kentucky seeking mental health services.
I have over five years of clinical experience supporting individuals through life's challenges, with much of my work focused on those who have experienced trauma, domestic violence, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.
I believe that every person has strengths, resilience, and the ability to create meaningful change, even when life feels overwhelming. My goal is to provide a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out.
My approach is warm, supportive, and down-to-earth while also helping clients challenge unhelpful patterns and move toward the life they want to build. I utilize evidence-based practices tailored to your unique experiences, goals, and needs.
Whether you're healing from the past, navigating a difficult season, rebuilding your confidence, or simply looking for support, I am committed to helping you recognize your strengths and empowering you to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, but our first session is really just a conversation. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. We'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what brought you to therapy, exploring your experiences, and identifying what you hope to gain from our work together.
You don't need to have all the answers or know exactly where to start. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. By the end of the session, we'll begin identifying goals and creating a plan that fits your unique needs and circumstances. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling supported, encouraged, and hopeful about the path ahead.
